Help shape the future of Rabobank through innovation. In this role, you will work on 2 strategic innovation initiatives where data, client insights and predictive analytics come together to create new commercial opportunities and support sustainable growth.

You & your role

As a Business Analyst, you know better than anyone how to connect business processes, data and innovation. You will be part of the WR Innovation team and work across both the data analytics & prediction initiatives. In this role, you will explore how data and predictive analytics can support better decision-making, uncover new commercial opportunities and contribute to a future-proof Rabobank.

You will investigate how new business opportunities can be developed based on data, client behaviour and market developments. By doing so, you will contribute to innovation within Wholesale Banking and help Rabobank prepare for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. Operating at the intersection of business development, data analytics and innovation, you will play a direct role in initiatives that create tangible value for both clients and the bank.

• Exploring how financing needs within Trade & Commodity Finance can be predicted more accurately during periods of market volatility
• Developing data-driven insights that enable relationship managers and credit specialists to identify commercial opportunities and risks at an earlier stage across clients and sectors
• Bringing together expertise from business, data, risk and product development to create innovative, data-driven solutions that drive client value and commercial growth

• Analyse existing business processes and identify pain points, improvement opportunities and innovation initiatives that contribute to the development of new business models
• Design and support experiments by defining hypotheses, data requirements and success criteria, while assessing the feasibility of new concepts and predictive solutions
• Connect stakeholders across business, data, architecture, risk and product development, translating complex insights into clear recommendations, aligned decision-making and actionable next steps

In addition, you will explore which predictive solutions best fit the innovation challenges at hand. You will analyse available data, develop initial concepts and prototypes, and contribute to innovative propositions that help the bank respond to future developments.

You & your talent

• Experience in stakeholder management within a complex environment
• Proven experience in business analysis and process improvement
• Experience in data analytics and translating insights into business opportunities
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong Python skills
• Experience in Corporate Banking, Trade Finance or a comparable business environment is a plus

• Work is done in a hybrid way, according to the Rabobank @anywhere principle
• Due to increasing congestion at the Rabobank location on Croeselaan in Utrecht, a new parking policy will take effect from April 2026. From Monday to Thursday, external employees will no longer be able to park on the Croeselaan site. Only on Fridays will parking for externals still be possible
