Omschrijving opdracht

Scrum Master

We are looking for a Scrum Master to support an Agile BizDevOps team operating within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will work closely with the Product Owner and business/data stakeholders to organise the team’s backlog, remove impediments and elevate ways of working.

What you’ll do

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies.
  • Manage impediments and dependencies.
  • Encourage communication and team alignment to improve collaboration.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts and promote a healthy team dynamic.
  • Act as servant leader: coach the team toward self-organisation, manage workload and support continuous improvement.

What you bring

  • Solution-oriented, enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills in English.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Scrum Master role.
  • Knowledge of SAFe and Agile Scrum; experience in team coaching.
  • Coaching skills at team level; ability to elevate team structure and accelerate self-organisation.
  • Persistent, accurate and organised with a hands-on mentality.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Business Administration or IT.
  • Pluses: Scrum Master certification (e.g., PSM I/II or SAFe Advanced) and experience in Asset Management.

Practical information

  • Hours: 24 hours per week.
  • Office presence: Amsterdam office, approximately twice per week.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to Heerlen; travel requirement approximately 25–50%.
  • Employment: Not suitable for ZZP (freelance).

Functie-eisen

  • This role is not suitable voor ZZP (Freelance)
  • The candidate is exptected to be in Amsterdam in the office twice a week
  • The candidate must be willing to travel to Heerlen occasionally
  • The rol is for a minimum and maximum of 24 hours per week
  • The engagement is for an initial term of three months with the possibility for extension
  • You have a Bachelor / Master in Finance or Business Administration or IT
  • You have a minimum 5 years of experience in a Scrum master role
  • You have knowledge of Safe and Agile Scrum
  • You have coaching skills (on a team level)
  • You are persistent, accurate, and organized
  • You have a good command of English and good communication skills

Wensen

  • Experience of working in Asset Management or financial institutions would be an advantage
  • Also, it’s a plus if you have a Scrum master certification (e.g. PSM I/II or Safe Advanced Scrum Master) and knowledge about Asset Management
